You will see 50 typical clinical short cases in a high intensity PACES station-style format. There are multiple stations (clinical, history taking skills, and communication skills and ethics) throughout each of the two days of each course.

The clinical stations will allow you a short space of time to examine a specific sign or system. You have an opportunity to present your findings to the examiner, who will give you a 'Pass or Fail' opinion.

You will be corrected & taught briefly about each case at the end of each station.

Course Key Features

  • Approximately 50 patients with typical signs per weekend course, in a high intensity course format designed specifically for PACES exam preparation.
  • We offer a very low Lecturer to Candidate ratio, making the group sizes 1:7 or less. Group learning encourages candidate confidence and allows informal learning from other candidates.
  • Whilst examining patients, you will be in a group of just 2 or 3 candidates.
  • 2 Communications, Ethics, Law training sessions per individual candidate.
  • 2 History taking skills training sessions per individual candidate.
  • Halal & Vegetarian food available for our many International candidates.
