Terms and Conditions
By making a booking for an fastPACES course, you agree to the following terms:
Booking a confirmed place is only with cleared payment, in advance, and may be made by telephone, post, or online at www.mrcp.com
Duplicate paperwork
After dispatch of initial booking confirmation paprwork, All requests for duplicate paperwork, eg receipts, confirmation letters etc, will incur a charge of £10 to cover administration costs.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation requests will only be accepted when BOTH VERBALLY requested and subsequently CONFIRMED IN WRITING, and will be accepted ONLY from the date the request is received in writing. If you have paid by credit or debit card, the card surcharges are NOT REFUNDABLE under any circumstances, as these fees are taken directly by the credit card processing companies. All 100% refunds are subject to £6 administration charge.
The amount of refund granted will be according to the following scale:
For fastPACES Clinical Courses:
cancellation received upto 21 days before 9am,1st day of course:
100% refund
cancellation received upto 14 days before 9AM, 1st day of course:
75% refund
cancellation received less than 14 days before 9AM, 1st day of course:
0% refund
If you fail the theory (written) part of the exam ON THIS RUN, you will receive a full refund.
Cancellation due to failure of Theory exam (with RCP fail letter as proof),
received upto 10 days before 9AM, 1st day of course:
100% refund
received less than 7 days before 9AM, 1st day of course:
0% refund
For fastPACES Communications/Ethics/Law Courses ONLY:
cancellation received upto 7 days before 9am, day of course:
100% refund
Accepted Payments.
All courses must be paid for in full before attendance by the candidate.
Cheque drawn on a UK bank, with guarantee card number written on reverse.
Travellers cheques issued in Sterling only.
Bank draft or International Money Order issued in Sterling only.
Debit Cards (SWITCH, DELTA) are accepted, and carry NO SURCHARGE
Credit Cards (VISA, MASTERCARD) are accepted, but carry a £5 surcharge (on course fees of £135) to cover the 3% surcharge imposed by the credit card processing companies. On course fees of £629, the surcharge is £20.
In the 7 days prior to a course, bookings will only be accepted by credit or debit card, to allow immediate clearance of payment.
Patient Factors
All patients may become unwell at short notice, and either be unable or choose not to attend the course. Wherever possible, replacements will be found, but occasionally the numbers of patients on any one course may be greater or smaller than the figures quoted in this brochure. All figures in this brochure are quoted for guidance only, and should not be regarded as guaranteed or absolute. fastPACES reserve the right to change the detail of any one course in the interests of improved learning.
fastPACES reserve the right to cancel any one course at short notice in exceptional circumstances, in which case a full refund will be offered to affected candidates. In all cases, fastPACES Ltds liability will not exceed the total amount paid as course fees.
